Fiesta Farms Flyer - Fiesta Farms is Toronto’s largest independently owned grocery store and garden centre. What does that mean? It means we only have one store. But it’s a big one. “Largest” means we carry the range of products you’d expect from a chain. "Independent" means we can choose what those products are-who makes them, where they come from, what’s in them, their place in the local economy. Stuff like that.

Partly because being choosy is good, and partly because it’s good business. When we opened up over 20 years ago, we decided to focus on two things the big guys couldn’t compete with: serving our local ethnic communities and supporting our local economy. Now those things are popular. And so are we!

A visit to the store will let you know pretty quickly that we don’t turn our nose up at anyone, but we tend to be particularly popular with folks who get more from food shopping than just a full larder. As it turns out, food matters to a lot of people for a lot of different reasons.

Shopko Weekly Ad Circular

Shopko Weekly Ad - Shopko (formerly ShopKo until June 2007) is a chain of retail stores based in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. Shopko was founded in 1962 by James Ruben, and its first store opened in Green Bay. From 1991 to 2005, the company was publicly held, with stock traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SKO.

In December 2005, the company was acquired by an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners and reverted to private ownership. In 1999, Shopko purchased Pamida, a regional discount chain that operated mainly in smaller communities of 3,000 to 8,000 people.

Shopko operated Pamida as a separate division until 2007, when Pamida was separated from Shopko and reestablished as a separate company. In 2012, Shopko and Pamida merged into one company. Shortly after, most Pamida stores were rebranded as Shopko Hometown.
