The Source Flyer - The Source is one of Canada’s leading consumer electronics and cell phone retailers with over 650 locations across Canada. The chain goes back over 40 years in Canada, initially as Radio Shack and later as The Source by Circuit City. The Source is now owned by BCE Inc., which purchased the assets of InterTAN from its parent, American retailer Circuit City, in 2009. The Source is a unit of 4458729 Canada Inc. and is based in Barrie, Ontario.

The Source stocks a wide array of products. Most of the products are consumer electronics, including: cellular phones, computers, computer accessories, televisions, DVD players, Blu-ray players, home theatre systems, clock radios, traditional telephones, toys, SiriusXM satellite radio, console gaming equipment, cables (such as HDMI, DVI, RCA, Component, Composite, VGA, S-VIDEO, USB, SERIAL, etc.), Bell devices, Virgin Mobile devices, Bell TV, and MP3 players, as well as a large selection of headphones including the Monster and Skullcandy headphone line-up.

The Source also carries house brand products, under brands such as Fluid, InStudio, Headrush, Gnarly Fish, Kapsule, Nexxtech, and Xtreme Gaming.

Shopko operated Pamida as a separate division until 2007, when Pamida was separated from Shopko and reestablished as a separate company. In 2012, Shopko and Pamida merged into one company. Shortly after, most Pamida stores were rebranded as Shopko Hometown.

Rite Aid accepted the offer and is currently pending government antitrust committee approval. If the deal is approved without significant divestiture of stores, Walgreens would form the world's largest retail pharmacy chain in terms of number of locations.
