El Super Weekly Ad - Chedraui is a publicly traded Mexican grocery store and department store chain which also operates stores in California under the name El Super. It is traded on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the symbol CHEDRAUI. Chedraui was founded in 1927 in Xalapa, Veracruz by Lázaro Chedraui Chaya and his wife. In 1971 it opened the first supermarket in Xalapa, Veracruz. In 2005 it bought 29 supermarkets from Carrefour in Central and Southern Mexico. Chedraui's primary competition includes large grocers and hypermarkets such as Soriana, Wal-Mart and Comercial Mexicana.

According to Hoover's, it is "Mexico's third-largest retailer (after Walmart and Soriana), the supermarket giant sells groceries, apparel, and non-perishable items in 235 stores. The California operations began in 1997, later expanded to Nevada, Arizona and Texas. The stores there are branded El Super, and operated by Grupo Chedraui's Bodega Latina Corporation, headquartered in Paramount, CA. It operates about 58 stores aimed primarily to Hispanics. In addition to retail, the group has a real estate arm.

Shopko Weekly Ad Circular

Shopko Weekly Ad - Shopko (formerly ShopKo until June 2007) is a chain of retail stores based in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. Shopko was founded in 1962 by James Ruben, and its first store opened in Green Bay. From 1991 to 2005, the company was publicly held, with stock traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SKO.

In December 2005, the company was acquired by an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners and reverted to private ownership. In 1999, Shopko purchased Pamida, a regional discount chain that operated mainly in smaller communities of 3,000 to 8,000 people.

Shopko operated Pamida as a separate division until 2007, when Pamida was separated from Shopko and reestablished as a separate company. In 2012, Shopko and Pamida merged into one company. Shortly after, most Pamida stores were rebranded as Shopko Hometown.
